    Oh, THAT’S why the Puppies hated this book! It’s been so long since I’ve read it tht I forgot how very, very progressive it is.

    I see you made your will save on not saying “he’s not a tame lion, you know.” 🙂 I remember when the sequel to “Wolf Hall” was coming out, some site or another had an interview with Hilary Mantel, and the title of the article was a quote she uttered in the interview: “The Catholic Church is not a place for respectable people.” She meant it as an insult, but Tom and I both separately read the headline and thought, “Huh, I didn’t know Mantel was Catholic.” Flummery O’Connor really couldn’t have said it better.
