  1. Rachel K says:

AHHHHH! If I’d known Doug Jones was your special guest, I would have asked you to ask him about the religious themes in “Absentia”!

Wow, he seems like an unimaginably cool guy.

  2. Allan Reini says:

Wow. Outstanding episode, and a great interview! It felt like we really got to know the heart of the man behind the makeup, as well as a lot of insight into how the industry can work for people of faith. I did, however, miss a certain phrase at the sign-off. How are we’all supposed to geek out if Leeman doesn’t tell us to?

  3. C. Mullican says:

Aw, no Space Command love in the Kickstarter portion?

    • Leeman says:

The old Canadian TV Show? I was in a bizarre can-con musical that had an entire song about Space Command.

      • C. Mullican says:

(How did I not see this comment before?)

No, Marc Zicree’s new project, which started with a Kickstarter a few years ago, and is now in the middle of filming the first of a planned six films. Doug is playing the role of a synthetic, an android-type character.

Anyway, I came back to this post to say that I spoke to Doug Jones after the Space Command panel at SDCC this year, and told him I enjoyed his interview here. He looked a little blown away. 🙂

I have a couple of pics with him, but don’t see a way to post a photo here.
